A field full of Olympians is set to arrive at The Track at New Balance in Brighton on Sunday for the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix.

Television coverage on NBC and Peacock will run from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., although the day's opening event, the men's high jump, starts at 1:50 p.m. The broadcast will begin with the men's 400-meter race at 4:03 p.m. and finish after the men's 60-meter final at 5:54 p.m.

Noah Lyles, the Olympic 100-meter champion and 200-meter bronze medalist, will return to defend his 60-meter title at the meet. The American won last year in a meet-record time of 6.44 seconds. He is entered in Heat 1 of the preliminary round, where he will line up against 2016 world indoor champion Trayvon Bromell of the United States, world 100-meter bronze medalist Zharnel Hughes of Great Britain, and Italy's Marcell Jacobs, the 2022 world indoor champion.

Several other Olympic gold medalists are also entered. They include St. Lucia's Julien Alfred, the women's 100-meter champion, and American Rai Benjamin, the 400-meter hurdles champion. Americans Masai Russell and Grant Holloway, both 100-meter hurdles champions, will compete as well.

Russell is scheduled to meet Devynne Charlton of the Bahamas, the world indoor record-holder, in the 60-meter hurdles at 4:34 p.m.

The second-to-last event, the women's 3,000 meters, is slated for 5:39 p.m. and brings together two Olympic medalists. Australia's Jessica Hull and Britain's Georgia Bell finished second and third, respectively, in the 1,500 meters at the Paris Olympics. Americans Parker Valby, Emily Mackay, Emma Coburn and Elise Cranny are also in the race, along with Ethiopia's Melknat Wudu and Italy's Sintayehu Vissa.

The Indoor Grand Prix is in its 30th year. It was held at the Reggie Lewis Center in Roxbury until 2023, when it moved to The Track at New Balance in Brighton. The facility opened in 2022, seats 5,000 and has a 200-meter hydraulically banked track.

The meet belongs to the World Athletics Indoor Tour, a series of top indoor track and field competitions worldwide. The overall tour winners receive $10,000 and a guaranteed place at the 2025 World Athletics Indoor Championships in Nanjing, China, in March.

Alongside the professional races, the program includes youth, junior and masters competitions. Those events begin in the early afternoon with the women's masters mile at 2:20 p.m., followed by a youth 4x200-meter relay at 2:32 p.m. and the men's masters mile at 2:40 p.m. The women's 60-meter final is set for 4:26 p.m., and the men's 60-meter final closes out the day at 5:54 p.m.
